Description

Geophysical survey of the Roman villa prior to excavation. The survey was carried out by the Northamptonshire Archaeology Unit, but the processing of results was completed by ADH Bartlett of the Ancient Monuments Laboratory. Information of NRHE: AML Survey Database Reference No.: 767; Survey type: Magnetometer: recorded grid; To help prepare the case for excavation of the site in advance of gravel extraction. A considerable number of local magnetic anomalies representing occupation sites and enclosures were revealed.
