Full Description
{1} A trial trench to the rear of 22 High Street found two shallow intercutting ditches on a NW-SE and E-W alignments. Both were sealed by the topsoil. Pottery from the fills included Midland Purple Ware from the 15th-17th centuries, iron-glazed earthenwares of the 17th-18th centuries and modern creamwares. The ditches were likely to be property boundaries.
