Full Description
{1} A stone scatter and roof tile fragments suggest the presence of a possible Romano-British building.
{2} Fieldwalking produced large amounts of Roman pottery (mainly coarse grey, and shelly wares) and two roof tile fragments. The pottery was evenly scattered over the whole ploughed area of five acres.
{3} Fieldwalking in 1974 recovered 300 Iron Age, Romano-British and Saxon pot sherds.
