Full Description

{1} Rectangular ditched enclosure with entranceway midway along its southern side. C.40m x 20m. Possibly contained further small enclosures and pits.

{4} Enclosure 2 was rectangular, with internal dimensions of 39.0m north-south and 27.0m east-west, an area of 1000sq.m or 0.1ha. There was an entrance on the southern side. The ditches were up to 3.20m wide and 1.46m deep. Within this enclosure was a small D-shaped enclosure with no apparent entrance, and internal dimensions of 10.80m north-south by up to 7.80m east-west. A short length of curvilinear gully to the immediate west was very shallow at 0.10m, it may be the very truncated remains of a ring ditch surrounding a roundhouse, perhaps 10m in diameter. Several pits were located within the enclosure; within one were a number of loomweights and a furnace hearth base.
