Description

Rectory, now house. Reputedly c.1687. Banded ashlar limestone and lias with slate roof. Double depth plan, 2 storeys with attic. Main elevation of 5-window range. Central C20 door has flat arch heads flanking C19 casements with similar heads. First floor windows are C19 casements with stone lintels and keyblocks. Evidence of 2-light stone mullion windows to cellar below ground floor windows. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers; three C19 roof dormers, brick stacks at ends. Large C19 extension to rear has canted bay window to south. Datestone 1687 on south gable, now illegible.
