Description

An early-mid C18 3 storeyed front on a C16-17 core. The front is modernised but retains the original sash windows and is rendered in modern roughcast; there is, on the north side, a wing projecting to the east. Moulded wood cornice. Small parapet. Painted pilaster strips. Band at 1st floor. In the centre on the 1st floor over a carriageway, is a Venetian window with moulded pilasters, on each side on which are 2 sash windows in moulded frames. At the back a wing on the north west has some original sash windows in a 3-sided bay and some renewed casement windows. Interior: the ground floor room in the north west wing contains a C16-17 moulded 4-centre headed stone fireplace with moulded jambs which may well belong to the original house.
