Description

Schoolmasters house, now house. c.1867. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and Collyweston slate roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys. Elevation to High Street has gabled wing breaking forward to left with 2 single-light windows at ground floor and a 2-light stone mullion window at first floor; all with Caernarvon heads and ashlar surrounds. Similar 2-light window to ground floor of right hand bay. Plank door in return wall of cross-wing has 4-centred arch-head and ashlar surround. Ground loor windows have relieving arches over. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and central stone stack. Interior not inspected. School master's house for adjacent school, now Easton-on-the-Hill Village Hall (q.v.).
