Description
Pair of cottages. C18. Painted coursed rubble, corrugated iron and asbestos roofs, brick ridge and end stacks. Both cottages have 2-unit plans. 2-storey, 3-window range. No. 1 to left has plank door with timber lintel flanked by old 2-light casement windows with timber lintels. Similar smaller window to first floor right. No. 3 has C20 door with timber lintels and 2-light C20 casements to ground and first floors in old openings; 2-storey, one-window extension to right. Both formerly thatched; eaves built up in brick when thatch was removed. Interior: No. 1 has fine open fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer. Stop-chamfered spine beams.
