Description
Shown as Tally-Ho Cottage on Ordnance Survey map. House. Late C17 and C18, restored C20. Regular coursed ironstone with plain C20 tile roof. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range of 3-light stone mullion windows with 2 leaded casements to ground floor right, under wood lintels. C20 door to left of centre, under wood lintel. Small C20 gables over all first floor windows. Brick stack at ridge and end. Right gable has remains of pigeon holes and late C18 raising of roof. Interior has 2 open fireplaces with bressumers and some stopped chamfered spine beams and rafters. Some windows have panelled reveals. Some original roof structure said to survive.
