Description

Group of 3 chest tombs and coffin slab. Coffin slab probably C15/C16, others, mid and late C18, Limestone ashlar bolection moulded pilasters at corners. Centre tomb has a pair of fielded inscription panels with partially legible inscriptions to side and end. Other tombs are identical with oval panels and partially legible inscriptions. Tomb adjacent to church has inscription to Peake family and dates 1741 and 1781. Tomb furthest from church has date 1800.
