Description
Row of 3 chest tombs. C17 and C18. Ironstone. That furthest to north dated 1696 with ironstone base and massive rounded red sandstone top. Worn inscription in chamfered surround on south side. Middle chest tomb of group: ironstone with cartouches to south side and west end and inscription at east end to William, son of Richard and Catherine Goodman who died 1717 aged 15 weeks, with cherubs head above and framed by curtains. Southernmost chest tomb of ironstone probably mid C18 has pilastered corners and worn inscription.
