Description

NGR is centred. Defence of Roman Town. A small section of this earthwork excavated in 1954 proved that fortification is of the Roman period. A double ditch with remains of stone wall. The NW corner of the defence still remains intact. {AM7} This site falls into the portions separated by a plot of land with a newly built telephone exchange. {AM12 1980}
