Description

One of the Northamptonshire villas discovered in 19th century and subsequently lost. In 1953 excavation brought foundations to light. A few 3rd century coins and much pottery also found. Bulge in ground north of hedge which cuts site may mark villa site. {AM7} Site is arable with substantial scatter of pottery, tile etc. In good condition. {AM12 1979}
