Description

Farmhouse. Late C17. Squared coursed ironstone, house has Colleyweston slate roof, outbuilding has part thatched roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 5-window range of C17 two-light stone mullion windows at first floor. Casements under wood lintels at ground floor. Central panelled door has moulded stone and eared architraves. Single light window to left has moulded stone surround. Pair of hipped roof dormers. Ashlar gable parapets and ashlar stacks with cornices at ends. Left g ble has single-light window and circular attic window both with moulded stone surrounds. C18 wing to rear has C19 lean-to attached. C18 outbuildings attached to rear. Interior not inspected but noted as having chamfered ceiling beams.
