Description

Bridge. Early C19. Brick, partly rendered. Arch with moulded border, string course at base of parapet. Iron plaque inscribed '11' over arch. The Grand Union Canal was authorised by Act of Parliament in 1810. The Crick section was completed c.1814. (A.H. Faulkner, The Grand Junction Canal, 1972, p.187-8).
