Description
Row of 3 houses and shop. Datestone 1858 for Rockingham Castle estate. Squared, coursed and banded limestone and ironstone with slate roof. Original each of 2-unit terrace plans. 2 storeys. Together comprising a 4-window range of casements with glazing bars under shallow stone arches; those at first floor are set in eaves dormers. Bay to right breaks forward as gabled cross wing. C19 ribbed doors between window ranges all with lattice porches. Stone stacks, with octagonal brick flues, at ridge and end. Gabled cross wing to right has datestone. Elevation to right has lattice porch at entrance to shop. Interiors not inspected. Included for group value.
