Description
House, now 2 dwellings. Late C17 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 4-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 5-window range. Two, 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion, windows to first floor right, both with hood moulds. Similar, central, single-light windows. 2 leaded casements, to first floor left, under wood lintels. C19 canted bay with slate roof, to ground floor far right and similar bay, with sash windows and flat roof, to left of centre. Windows with glazi g bars, under wood lintels, to ground floor right of centre and far left. 6-panel, part-glazed door, to right of centre, is under wood lintel. 2 gabled eaves dormers, one to right has leaded lights. Ashlar gable parapets. Central ashlar cruciform stack and brick and ashlar stacks at ends. Gabled stair turret and single-storey lean-to extensions to rear. Interior not inspected but noted as having one room with scratch moulded panelling and dentilled cornice and corner cupboard; both probably e rly C18.
