Description
House, now house and shop. C17. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys, part with attics. 3-window range of C20 p.v.c. casements in original openings under wood lintels. 2 C19 canted bay windows to centre have C20 p.v.c. casements. C20 door, under wood lintel, between bay windows. Early C19 shop front, to far left, has 2 bow windows and centre part-glazed double doors. 2 gabled eaves dormers to left. Ashlar gable parapet, to left. Stone stacks at ridge. Left gable has 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window to first floor and bow fronted shop window to ground floor. Various C19 extensions to rear. Interior not inspected but centre room noted as having wooden fireplace surround with pilasters and pulvinated frieze. Also noted as having C18 corner cupboard.
