Description

Range of barn and outbuildings dated "DBEB MD CC XCIV" (1794) but of several builds. Coursed limestone rubble outbuildings, brick barn. Pantile roofs. Barn to left has cogged eaves, central entrance (now blocked) with wooden lintel between brick pilaster buttresses. Steps to first floor door to right. Low gabled wing to south of coursed limestone rubble. Outbuildings, to right, have ironstone band, 2 segmental-headed plain board and stable doors with overlights, irregular range of casement openings, stable door and garage door with wooden lintels. C20 brick dressed garage opening has metal girder lintel. Datestone and blank panel with 3 holes, perhaps formerly sundial. Interiors not inspected. Included for group value.
