Description

Farmhouse. Probably C17 origin, main block dated "DM MDCCXCII" (1792). Squared coursed limestone and limestone rubble, ashlar dressings and Collyweston stone slate roofs. Main block and lower wing projecting to right. Main block, 2 storeys and attic, 2 window range, has coped gables and twin moulded stone end stacks. 3-light small-paned casement windows with gauged stone heads and keystones (left hand ground floor one now French windows). 2 hipped 2-light dormers. Central square datestone with cornice. Lower wing to right one storey and attic. Brick ridge stack and end stack and brick on stone base. Casement windows and 2 hipped 3-light dormers. Gable end has datestone as that to main block. C20 lean-to porch to flank. Intrior not inspected.
