Description

Farmhouse. Late C17, altered C18 and C19. Coursed squared limestone banded with ironstone, ironstone dressings, thatch roof, blue brick end stack to rear and red brick ridge and end stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range facing street. Front to street has central 2-light casement window with moulded stone surround and hood mould of original stone mullion window, flanked by 3-light casement windows with similar surrounds and hood moulds. 2-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window to first floor centre, similar 3-light window to first floor left, 3-light leaded casement to first floor right with moulded stone jambs of original window and wood lintel. Rendered plinth, quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Wing to rear right has part-glazed central door with panelled reveals, reeded wood surround and straight hood flanked by 3-light leaded casements. Similar 2-light windows to first floor in eyebrow dormers. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams.
