Description

Public house. Mid C18, altered late C19 and C20. Coursed squared ironstone, C19 patterned-tile roof with ornamental tile ridges, brick ridge and end stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. C20 part-glazed door to right of centre with straight hood on C19 brackets. A 3-light casement window to right, a 4-light casement to left, pair of small C19 sash windows to far left, 2-light casement windows to first floor except for 3-light casement to first floor right; all have stop-chamfered wood lintels. Stone-coped gables with kneelers. C20 single-storey extension to left. Interior has chamfered spine beam and open fireplace with diamond-stop-chamfered bressumer.
