Description

House, formerly 6 cottages. C17 and C18. Coursed squared ironstone and ironstone rubble, tile and slate roofs, brick end stacks. 2 storeys and attic, part 2 storeys. 2 storeys and attic range to right has two 3-light casement windows to ground floor, replacing mullions, with stone lintels and hood moulds. One 2-light chamfered mullion window to first floor left with leaded casement window to first floor right replacing stone mullion. Stone coped gable with kneelers to right and single-light leaded windows with double-chamfered stone surrounds to attic in right gable end. Slate roofed range to left has 2- and 3-light casement windows with timber lintels except for that to right ground floor with moulded stone frame and hood mould, and a 3-light ovolo stone mullion window above with leaded lights. Brick nogged eaves, left end of slate roofed range hipped. Entrance to rear. Ogee-stop-chamfered spine beam, some stop-chamfered joists, one open fireplace with stop-chamfered cambered bressumer, another with stop-chamfered bressumer and bread oven.
