Description
House. C16-17. Refronted mid C18. Squared coursed limestone. Slate roof, stone and brick stacks 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. Symmetrical front. Central doorway with straight keystoned arch, rectangular fanlight and 6 panel door, partly glazed. Sash windows with original glazing bars. Ground floor windows have straight keystoned arches. Those on first floor are plain gabled dormers with wood casements. Extension to right, above carriage way, C18 rendered brick, one bay with sash window and gabled dormers. Gabled projection at rear containing dog-leg staircase. Interior: first floor room with chamfered beams. Ground floor room has mid C18 panelled dado, panelled plaster ceiling and C18 corner fireplace with panelled wooden over-mantel.
