Description

Farmhouse. Datestone 1797. Squared coursed limestone with Colleyweston slate roof. Originally 3 units with wing to rear forming an L-shape plan. Main front of 4-window range of 2- and 3-light casements with glazing bars, all under gauged stone heads with keyblocks. 4-panel part-glazed door to right of centre has similar head. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and ashlar ridge and end stacks with moulded cornices. Datestone on right end stack. 4 cast-iron tie-rod plates at intervals along the ma n front. Left gable has blocked window openings with wood lintel. Rear wing has some casement windows with wood lintels. Interior not inspected but noted as having spine beams.
