Description
Cottage. Late C17 and C18, with C20 alterations and extension. Coursed limestone rubble, thatch roof, brick ridge stack. 1 storey and attic; 1-window range. Probably built as one-unit cottage with one-unit extension to right of C18. C20 door to left with wood lintel, a 2-light casement window to ground floor left of centre and similar 3-light window to right, both with wood lintels. 2-light casement to 1st floor in eyebrow dormer. Straight joint to centre with ironstone quoins to left of joint. C20 extension to rear. Interior: older portion has ogee-stop-chamfered spine beam, some original ogee-stop-chamfered joists and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer. Old common rafter roof to this section.
