Description
Farmhouse. Probably late C17. Coursed rubble lias with thatch roof. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys with attic. Main front elevation of 2-window range of 2-light casements with leaded lights at first floor and wood casements at ground floor all under wood lintels. C19 half glazed door to right with blocked window above. Elevation to right similar. Gabled roof with ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, brick and stone stacks at ends. Roof dormer to north. C18 outbuildings attached to south. Interior: East room has open fireplace with chamfered bressumer, kitchen has chamfered beams and wall cupboard with panelled doors probabaly late C17. Dogleg stair, some plank doors with strap hinges. Butt purlin roof structure.
