Description
Pair of cottages. Late C18, altered C19. Rendered over brick and stone, right end wall of coursed squared ironstone and limestone, slate roof, brick ridge and end stacks. Both have 2-unit plans. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. C20 doors to left and right of centre. 2-light casement windows to No.5, C19 sash windows to No. 3. Interior: No. 5 has stop-chamfered spine beam and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer. Formerly thatched.
