Description
Steps and attached urns. Early C18 after manner of Van Nost, steps restored C19. Limestone ashlar steps have 4 lead urns, with classical bas relief, on ashlar plinths. (Gardens included in HBMCE Register of Parks and Gardens at grade I. Cornforth, J., Country Life, 20th May, 1965, p.1216; Buildings of England: Northamptonshire, p.189; Jackson-Stops G, Drayton House, 1978).
