Description

Retaining wall, steps and urns. Probably late C16 origins with early C18 urns probably by J. Van Nost. Squared coursed limestone wall with ashlar parapet. Flights of steps to either end of walls. Those at east end are flanked by 4, closed, lead urns. Originally probably the northern boundary of the main parterre on the east side of Drayton House (q.v.).
