Description
Pair of cottages. Earlier C19th. Coursed squared limestone with slate roofs and brick ridge and end stacks. 2 storeys and attic. 2-window range of 3-light casements. 2 plank doors. 2 3-light dormers half below eaves. Single storey extension to right with 3-light casement. Casements, doors and a single storey extension to rear. INTERIOR. Plank doors, winder stairs, and some original fire surrounds, with the odd cast-iron grate. The cottages adjoin No. 40 (qv) and form part of a group in Drayton Road.
