Description
House and attached outbuilding. Datestone E/JA/1747, partly raised late C18. Squared coursed limestone; outbuilding is part timber framed. Colleyweston and Welsh slate roofs. Originally 2-unit plan. 3 storeys. 2-window range of C20 casements, in late C18 sash openings, under wood lintels. Central C20 casement to second floor. Central 6-panel, part-glazed, door under wood lintel, has arched hood. Ashlar gable parapet and brick stacks at ends. Front roof raised early C19. C18 outbuilding attached to left has central C20 door under wood lintel. Remains of ashlar gable parapet to left. Rear wall is close-studded timber framing with brick infill. Interior not inspected but house noted as having remains of open fireplace with bressumer. Ancient espalier peartree on gable.
