Description
House. Mid C18, with earlier origins and C19 alterations. Coursed squared limestone (painted), C20 plain-tile roof, brick ridge and internal stacks. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 3-window range. 4-panel door to right of centre with panelled reveals and reeded wood surround with Greek key frieze and straight hood on brackets. 16-pane sash windows to right, with wood lintels, a canted bay window to left with 16-pane sash to front, 4-pane to sides, flanked by blocked window to left and blocked door to rig . od lintels. Carriage arch to far left with plank door and stop-chamfered wood lintel. C19 horned sashes to first floor with wood lintels. Interior: boxed beams and old stud partitions. Formerly thatched.
