Description

Stable block. Late C18. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof. 2 storeys. Central plank door with wood lintel extending across 2-light casement windows to left and right. Central plank hay-loft door above with pegged wood surround and wood lintel. Chamfered stone eaves. Attached single-storey outbuilding to right, probably originally housing further stabling, of coursed squared ironstone with slate roof. Walling facing yard is partly of red brick. Included for group value.
