Description
Manor House. Datestones 1631 and 1642. Squared coursed lias and limestone, parts banded, and concrete tile roof. 2 storeys with attic. Main front of 2-window range of 2-light stone mullion windows. C19 stone canted bay to ground floor left. Gabled wing breaks forward to right and has 3-light stone mullion window. C20 door in return wall of cross wing has moulded stone surround with 4-centred head. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stack at ridge. Cross wing has datestone 1642 and is banded limestone and lias. Garden front to left is similar of 2-window range of 2- and 3-light stone mullion windows and C19 canted stone bay. Gable to left and eaves dormer to right. Datestone in gable 1631. Ashlar gable parapets. Interior not inspected but noted as having ceiling beams. Early C20 cross wing to right of main front demolished mid C20.
