Description
House now 3 dwellings. Mid/late C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally probably 3-unit plan. Single storey with attic. Together comprising a 6-window range of renewed C19 style casements under wood lintels. Similar casements to attic under 6 hipped eaves dormers. Three C20, part-glazed, doors under wood lintels, between window ranges. Ashlar gable parapets and ashlar ridge and end stacks with moulded cornices. C19 lean-to extension to right. Interior not inspected but No. 11 noted as having an open fireplace with bressumer. Probably converted to 3 estate houses by Brudenell family of Deene Hall, early C19. Not evident on estate map of 1747 but included on map of 1847. (Northamptonshire Records Office; Cartographical Collection)
