Description

The Coach and Horses Inn was built by 1847. It consists of a long, two storey range with two long, narrow wings at the rear. It is constructed of red brick, rendered on the front range, with a slate-clad pitched roof, a brick ridge and gable end stacks. The ground floor has two canted bay windows flanking the carriage arch which has 19th century gates. A porch was added in the 20th century. The carriage arch give access to the courtyard which has stables and a two storey accommodation wing. Locally listed building.
