Description
Pair of cottages. C18. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, thatch roof to No. 1, C20 plain-tile roof to No. 3, brick ridge stacks. One-unit plan to No. 1, 2-unit plan to No. 3. No. 1 has plank door with pegged wood surround and wood lintel, and 2-light casement windows, that to 1st floor in eyebrow dormer and both with wood lintels. No. 3 has C20 plank door, a 3-light casement to right of door, a 2-light casement to ground floor far right and similar casement to 1st floor, breaking lines of eaves, all with wood lintels. No. 1 noted as having chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
