Description

House, formerly public house. Mid/late C18. Coursed squared limestone, painted, slate roof, brick end stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 3-unit plan. Central panelled part-glazed door with flat arched head, keyblock and straight hood on brackets. 3-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors left and right, similar 2-light casement above door, all with flat-arched heads and keyblocks. Plinth, quoins, storey band and chamfered stone eaves. One- and 2-storey C19 brick extensions to rear. Interior has chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer. Stone cellar. A public house until 1956.
