Description

Cottage. Late C17, altered C18. Coursed squared ironstone and limestone, reed thatch roof, brick end and ridge stacks on stone bases. 2-unit plan originally, with one-unit addition. 2-storey, 3-window range. Plank door to right of centre, with moulded wood surround and timber lintel in C20 stone porch. 3-light casement windows to ground and first floors except for 6-pane window to ground floor far left, all with timber lintels. Timber lintel over central ground floor blocked openings. Interior has chamfered spine beams. Open fireplace with chamfered bressumer and salt cupboard with H-hinges. Stone-flagged floors.
