Description
Shown on Ordnance Survey map as Tudor Cottage. House. Mid/late C17, raised early C20. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar façade and corrugated asbestos roof. Originally 3/4 unit lobby-entry plan. Single-storey with attic, now 2 storeys. 4-window range with two 4-light stone-mullion windows, with king mullion and hood moulds, to left and right of centre. Glazed door with single-light windows attached, to far right, have moulded stone surrounds and hood moulds. Similar window and door arrangement to far left, under wood lintel. 2 C19 casements, formerly eyebrow dormers, to first floor. Central 6-panel door also under wood lintel. Remains of ashlar kneelers. Roof raised in stone on gable ends and with corrugated asbestos sheet to front elevation. Brick and stone stack to ridge. Interior not inspected.
