Description

1898 in French Renaissance style by Matthew Holding. Red brick with stone dressings finely carved. Stone slated roof with ornate gabled dormers, tall chimneystacks with pilasters. 2 storeys and attics, ground and 1st floor entablatures. Composite pilasters flanking windows, mainly stone mullioned and transomed casements, some ground floor sashes. Round arched porch. Corner gable flanked by 2 turrets with square based cupolas. Marred by black and red paint on ground floor stonework.
