Description
2 houses. Datestone 1730. Squared coursed limestone with thatch and Colleyweston slate roofs. Each originally 2-unit plan, together forming an L-shape range. Main front of No.14 is a 3-window range of 2- and 3-light casements, with glazing bars, under gauged stone heads with keyblocks. Central panelled door, with glazed toplights, is under similar head. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and ashlar stacks at ends. Main front of No. 15, to right, is a 2-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels. C20 door to right of centre also under wood lintel. Central ashlar stack. Right angle abuttment of roofs has Colleyweston slate valley. Rear elevation of No. 14 has C20 lean-to porch. Datestone in left gable of No. 14. No. 15 is probably an earlier build. Interior of No. 15 has spine beams.
