Description

Remains of a wooden bridge excavated 1967-68 on north side of Harper Brook. It is on the line of a Roman road, but it is not certain whether the bridge spanned the brook or the River Nene, both of which have changed their course. At time of writing remains are at Kirby Hall {AM7 1968}
