Description
House and barn, probably originally one long barn. C.1700, the two left bays converted to a dwelling C20. Coursed squared ironstone, two left bays rendered. Corrugated iron roof over thatch, brick stack. House, 2 storeys; 2 bays. Entrance in right bay has rendered frame and C20 glazed door with side lights. All windows have 2-light casements and rendered surrounds. Barn adjoining to right, 2 bays, has 2 doorways with wood lintels and plank door and 2 openings to loft with wood lintels and plank doors. Coped gable end to right. Interior: barn has original roof tie beam and collar roof. Included for group value.
