Description
House. Probably late C17. Squared coursed lias and timber frame with thatch roof. 3-unit plan with cross wing to right. 2 storeys. 3-window range of casements with leaded lights and wood lintels. C20 six-panelled door to left. The ground floor is painted stone. The first floor is timber framed with close studding and diagonal bracing; possibly restored C20. Gable facing the road has weatherboarding to upper section. Gable to left has ashlar parapets and kneelers. Brick stacks at ridge. Elevation to right, similar, has one 3-light stone mullioned to ground floor. Interior: Ground-floor rooms have moulded beams.
