Description
Cottage. Probably early C18, remodelled C19 and C20. 2 storeys and attic. 2 left bays, painted coursed rubble, right bay added C19 in brick, now painted. Corrugated iron roof over thatch, brick stacks. Doorway in second bay from right has concrete lintel and C20 door. Window to right has C20 three-light casement in flat arched brick frame. 2-light casement window with wood lintel to left and 2-light casement window with rendered surround in left bay. 3-light casement window with wood lintel in left bay on the first floor. Similar 2-light window in second bay from left and C20 half dormer in right bay. C20 brick extension to right is not of special architectural interest. Interior: C18 section of cottage has stop chamfered spine beams and original queen strut roof. Included for group value.
