Description
House. Mid C18. Squared coursed ironstone with limestone ashlar facade and Colleyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic; 3-window range of C20 casements in original openings under scored stone lintels with keyblocks at first floor and gauged stone heads at ground floor. C20 door to right of centre is under similar head. Chamfered plinth. Ashlar gable parapet to right and truncated ashlar stacks at ridge and end. C19 extension to rear. Interior: entrance hall has remains of open fireplace with bressumer and stop chamfered spine beam. Late C18 staircase with 2 turned balusters per tread.
