Description
Two houses. 1860-64 for Lady Overstone, extended C20. Regular coursed lias with brick dressings and slate roof. Originally each of 2-unit plans. 2 storeys. Together comprising a 2-window range of 2-light wood-mullioned windows with cast-iron lozenge glazing bars under flat brick arches and with brick dressings. First floor windows are set in half dormers and window to ground floor left is a square bay. Gabled porches with C20 doors to left and right, that to No. 14 retains original arch opening. Overailing eaves and central brick stack. Gables to left and right have similar windows with slit at apex and plain bargeboards. C20 extension to rear. Interiors not inspected.
