Description

Rectory, now house. Mid C17, mid C18 and mid C19. Squared coursed ironstone and limestone with Colleyweston slate roofs. Originally probably L-shape plan now complex. 2 storeys with attic. Garden front of 8-window range. 4-window range to right is C18 with casement windows, one with leaded lights, under wood lintels. 4-window range to left is C19 with sash windows having moulded stone surrounds. Large canted stone bay window to ground floor left. 2 pairs of gabled roof dormers with bargeboards Eaves at 2 levels, gable to left has bargeboards. Ashlar stacks at ridge and end. Elevation to left has C19 entrance with moulded stone arch-head surround. Elevation to right has large C19 stone mullion staircase window. Rear elevation is C17, 2-window range of 2- and 3-light stone mullion windows. Gable to left has large tripartite sash under flat stone arch. Interior not inspected.
